Who We Are

Swim In Aid is progessing towards be a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching swim safety and drowning prevention in communities across Indonesia. Founded in 2023 our organization was born out of the urgent need to address the high rates of drowning in the region. We work closely with local communities, schools, and governments to provide education, training, and resources that empower children and adults to stay safe in and around water.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to reduce drowning incidents and save lives by providing essential swim safety education to underserved communities in Indonesia.

Vision: A future where every person in Indonesia has the knowledge and skills to enjoy water safely.

  • Meet our vibrant team of dedicated instructors, which includes passionate local instructors, enthusiastic resort owners and staff, respected local village leaders, committed school representatives, and many more delightful individuals who contribute to our community!

  • During a family trip to Rote, we were deeply affected by a local boat accident and the destruction it caused to the village. As surfers, we want to help Indonesian communities by offering swim safety courses in partnership with Swimdo and local business owners to create a lasting program that teaches local people swim safety.

  • Since our 2023, Swim In Aid has made a significant impact in communities across Indonesia. We are proud to share the stories and statistics that highlight our progress in preventing drownings and promoting swim safety.
